Zoo!

I was waiting for this day...a cool, cloudy day to go to the zoo. A day that we wouldn't die of heatstroke or dehydration. And it came! This particular rainy Sunday was a dream come true. It was a bit drizzly when we first arrived, but we had a great umbrella that enclosed Claire while not missing any of the sights.

This time the hippo was out of the water. The hippo is one of Claire's favorites.

Claire is at the age that she thinks the zoo is exciting, but puddles to jump over are equally exciting. But the new Elephant Passage exhibit definitely amazed us all.

Here comes Bodhi to take a bath.

Bodhi and his trainers were great to watch. He is only 7 years old, but performed like a pro!

Claire fot to ride the carousel a few times this day. It's quickly becoming one of her favorite things to do. She choose the hippo this time :)
